Summerfest Announces BMO Harris Pavilion Headliners And Performance Dates

MILWAUKEE, WI (THE WIRE PRESS) – Summerfest officials are excited to announce the highly anticipated lineup of headliners slated for the BMO Harris Pavilion with Miller Lite during Summerfest 2016.  With a nod to classic rock, the line-up will feature the following headliners:

June 29: Kris Kristofferson, 8 p.m.; Willie Nelson, 10 p.m.

June 30: Styx, 9:45 p.m.

July 1: Commodores, 9:45 p.m.

July 2: Blue Oyster Cult, 3 p.m.; Billy Idol, 9:45 p.m.

July 3: Indigo Girls, 7:30 p.m.; BoDeans, 9:45 p.m.

July 5: Hollywood Vampires, 9:45 p.m.

July 6: Andra Day, 9:45 p.m.

July 7: Cheap Trick, 9:45 p.m.

July 8: The Fray, 9:45 p.m.

July 9: Howard Jones, 6 p.m.; OMD (Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark), 8 p.m.; Barenaked Ladies, 9:45 p.m.

July 10: Kirk Franklin, 9:30 p.m.

New in 2016, Summerfest will offer a seating option at the BMO Harris Pavilion with Miller Lite for all headlining performances.  This new policy offers Summerfest fans the choice of free general admission seats or reserved seats available for purchase.  All seats will be clearly marked within the venue.

FREE Festival Seating:

The majority of seating in the BMO Harris Pavilion will be available FREE to the public on a first come, first served basis.  Similar to other Summerfest stages, fans may occupy seats as they are available from the time Summerfest gates open.

Advance Purchase Tickets:

A select number of reserved tickets will be available for each headlining concert.  Patrons may purchase a ticket for the headlining performance for $25.00 per concert, plus fees.  Each reserved ticket for the BMO Pavilion includes admission to Summerfest.  Tickets go on sale May 2 – 6 and are available through Ticketmaster.com or at the Summerfest Box Office.  Reserved seats will not be available for Blue Oyster Cult.

Music fans can buy tickets early, skip the lines at the Summerfest Box Office and conveniently download or print their own General Admission tickets at home when they purchase them on Summerfest’s website.  Visit the new and improved Summerfest Store now to find General Admission tickets, Weekday Admission tickets, 3-Day Passes for $48 and an 11-Day Power Pass for $90.  Offers are available while supplies last and are subject to change.
